By Mail
If you’d prefer, you can mail a check to Shalem at 3025 Fourth Street, NE, Washington, DC 20017.

Gifts of Stock
Shalem also accepts gifts of stock or other appreciated securities. Please contact info@shalem.org for more details about these gifts.

Planned Giving
Planned giving options allow you to provide for Shalem in your estate plan. Examples of planned gifts are bequests, transfer of IRA plans and charitable trusts. When you let us know that you’ve put Shalem in your will, you become a member of Shalem’s Shekinah Society, our way of acknowledging those special friends who have made bequests. Contact info@shalem.org for more details.

Making a Tribute Gift
A special way of honoring someone can be done with a tribute gift. We send an acknowledgment to the honoree (or family member) and list both the donor and honoree in our annual report. Also, in 2005, the Shalem board created the Gerald May Memorial Fund in memory of our colleague, Jerry May, and to support the contemplative work he so valued and loved. Jerry’s many spiritual writings still impact readers today, and if you would like to make a gift to this fund, just note that in the “in memory of” section on the Donate page.

Praying About Money
Prayer is the supporting lifeblood of Shalem. Through it, we have been guided and inspired for over 40 years. Our fundraising efforts are grounded in prayer, and we invite you to pray for Shalem, its staff and participants and its mission in the world. Thank you for considering a gift to Shalem today. Your support is essential to Shalem’s work in the world!
