    • Joann Nesser is the founder and retired Executive Director of Christos Center for Spiritual Formation. She is an Associate in Ministry of the ELCA, whose credentials include a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Shalem Institute, an MA in Pastoral Theology and Ministry; and a D.Min. in Spiritual Direction. She continues to teach, do retreats and spiritual direction. Joann is the author of Contemplative Prayer: Praying When the Well Runs Dry; a CD entitled Scripture Meditations and the Second Edition of Journey Into Reality: Through Prayer and God-centeredness; From Certainty to Uncertainty: A Journey from Belief to Faith.
