Tara’s work, influenced by her personal life experiences and the experiences of others, is captured in essays, articles, short stories, poems, and other forms of creative expression.

      She is the creator of wordsbytara.com where she shares ideas, information and inspiration for women. She is also the creator of The Journal Well Project, an online space dedicated to centering the practice of journal writing. When she is not working on her own writing projects, Tara is a freelance writer and social work professional.
