• Judy Walsh-Mellett

    • Judy Walsh-Mellett came to the DC area in 1981 and has lived with her husband in Mt. Rainier, MD since 1987.  She is a graduate of Shalem’s Transforming Community: Leading Contemplative Prayer Groups & Retreats and has a long association with Dayspring Silent Retreat Center as a retreat leader. She is the mother of three adult children and anticipates with joy becoming a grandmother this autumn.

      She tends an organic vegetable and flower garden around her home and delights in making meals from the homegrown produce. She also enjoys singing, writing poetry and prose, and painting with watercolors.
