I retired as an elder in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2019, following ten years of pastoral service and a 27-year career as an attorney. I am a graduate of Miami University of Ohio (A.B., 1975), the University of Akron School of Law (J.D., 1979), Wesley Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2009; D.Min., 2016), and the Shalem Spiritual Guidance Program (2020). My wife, Carol, and I raised three children and now delight in spoiling our two teenage grandchildren. This will be my second Camino—and my first with Shalem. In retirement, I offer spiritual direction, lead a Centering Prayer group, and serve as interim pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church in Oilville, VA. I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
