Finding Deeper Ground: Living and Leading from the Spiritual Heart
A free virtual retreat for clergy

Sunday, March 20, 4:00 p.m., ET – Monday, March 21, 4:00 p.m., ET

In the midst of another demanding and stressful year, Shalem offers clergy an opportunity to slow down and reconnect to the deeper ground of the Spiritual Heart with this free 24-hour retreat on Zoom.

During the spaciousness of this time there will be teaching, sharing, silence and reflection. In the middle of the Lenten Season, participants will find time to breathe and rest as they are supported by the prayers of fellow clergy.

The retreat will be led by the co-directors and immediate past-director of Shalem’s Going Deeper: Clergy Spiritual Life and Leadership Program: the Rev. Julie Pennington-Russell, senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, D.C., the Rev. Emily Johnson Kellar, Minister of the Congregational Church of South Dartmouth, MA (UCC); and the Rev. Winston B. Charles, Ph.D., retired Episcopal priest and former rector of Christ Church, Raleigh, N.C.

All clergy are welcome to join this time of reconnection and refreshment.
